Classroom expectations In order to have a great classroom, we need to think about the learning environment we need. Please review the 4 Cs handout. Underline the key words.

Community, Collaboration, Commitment, Confidence JOT DOWN YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE 4-C NOTE CATCHER! Community, Collaboration, Commitment, Confidence

Classroom Jobs Job Title Description Executive Manager You keep track of who has which job and remind us when to switch. If someone is absent, you find a substitute. Handout Managers You two are in charge of handing out documents. Board Eraser At the end of each class, you erase the board so that it is ready for the next teacher. Attendance taker At the start of every class, you take the attendance folder and mark down students who are absent or late. You hold onto this and return it to it’s place at the end of class. Folder Managers Every student will have a folder. You two will be in charge of handing them out and collecting them. Time Manager You keep track of class time. You give us a 5-minute warning before the bell rings. Agenda Writer At the start of every class, you get the agenda and write it on the board. Artist You are in charge of making posters for our classroom. Sometimes these will be about key concepts we are learning, and sometimes they will be drawings that help us to understand what we are reading. This is a flexible position that requires a very creative and responsible person. Web Master You are in charge of writing a weekly summary of our class activities for our class website.
