What is a fraction? A fraction can be described as a portion or part of a whole. A fraction can be described as a part of a set.

What is a numerator? A numerator tells the number of equal parts described. Example: 2 4

What is a denominator? The denominator tells how many equal parts there are in all Example: 2 4
