One official email Student orgs should have one official email per organization No individual or personal emails.

Calendar Student Org Leaders should check it regularly. Add tentative or confirmed events with the student org official email. Be mindful of other events happening at the same time.

Newsletter

Newsletter CONT. All student groups leaders are required to subscribe to the SBA Newsletter. The Newsletter is published every week on Sunday Nights. The last time to send me any promotional info for the Newsletter is Friday night.

A quick word on promoting events in the newsletter If you wish to promote a student org event in the newsletter you should send a carefully written event description to the SBA Secretary.

BAD EXAMPLE Hi Sam, The Communications and Promotional Law Society is having a bake sale, tomorrow. Put it in the news letter. 3 things WRONG: It does not say when, where, what time… Is for TOMORROW, the Newsletter only goes out weekly. So you need to plan ahead. No information, or promotional info written.

Good example Hi Sam, The Always Correct and Informational Law Society is having a bake sale next Thursday. Here is the info to put in the Newsletter: Hello USF! The ACI Law Society is having a bake sale next Thursday, January 4th in the Student Lounge from 10:00 am to 3pm. Make sure your bring your appetite and cash. It’s for a good cause! All proceeds will be donated to the SBA Secretary.

Timely Do not email me with something that is due tomorrow. Plan ahead and coordinate. Be polite.
