Aims of SITS Trainers Network Share knowledge, lessons learned, training approaches and good practice. Showcases (training, testing, support, e-Learning etc). Offer re-purposed training materials. Build up a profile of SITS training activities across Institutions. Skills analysis of STN members. Collaborative training initiatives (manuals, books, courses etc). Create a community of trainers/testers/support staff via networking events.

Minutes & Actions (from Sheffield) No Action Items Status Outcome 1. Chair to post minutes, presentations and photos from STN event in London. 2. Members of the STN community are invited to become Regional Facilitators (Scottish, SFE & North of England and Ireland). 3. Chair to re-issue a further call for the submission of basic information for the STN member profiles area of the website (to be actioned during 2017). 4. Chair / STN members to arrange a pilot webinar for Collaborative Manual authors or for a meeting of the STN Committee (to be re-addressed during 2017). 5. STN to consider the areas of their roles that involve Testing and how, as a network, we could share best practice (to be re-addressed during a future event). 6. Chair to issue an invitation to STN members to contribute towards Volume 2 of the Introduction to SITS:Vision Client Server collaborative manual (to be continued after STN event on 11/11/16). 7. Luke Austin and Richard Clark to discuss mapping the Collaborative Manual to an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the future (after the completion of Volumes 1 and 2 of the collaborative manual). 8. Chair to create a GoogleDocs-based Contacts list to share with STN Committee members. 9. Richard Block inviting regional members to local events (Midlands, Wales & West of England). 10. STN Committee to follow up with Chris Sutton with regards to offering a small cohort of trainers access to a 1-hour sample session/taster course. 11. STN Committee to include additional eLearning sessions during future events. 12. STN Committee to plan a further collaborative manual project for the creation of an eLearning publication. 13.
