RBI™ is the foundation of Early Intervention across Montana EI approached local agencies – then State Part C Coordinator Dr. McWilliam provided general RBI training in MT Revision of MT’s IFSP process 5 Year Plan for MT RBI™ 11 Early Interventionists saw Dr. McWilliam present on Routine Based Interviews and brought the idea first to their local agencies then approached the State Coordinator about bringing him to Montana Dr. McWilliam provides general RBI™ training in MT Revising Montana’s approach to developing, writing & implementing IFSPs Family Support Services Team developed a 5 year implementation plan for MT 11 Regional Interventionists became Nationally Certified trainers and become the RBI™ 11.

MONTANA RBI™ BOOT CAMP Statewide in different regions Short, intensive and rigorous week long course providing support and feedback Montana State RBI™ Approval is given to participants successfully meeting the requirements (RBI™ video review, 2 hours in length, and screening against a checklist of 37 items for 90% accuracy)
What now?? How do we maintain this both state-wide and within agencies? How do we measure if the practice is continuing to be implemented within agencies? How do we continue to provide bursts of professional development to FSSs for continuity and continual improvement of the practice? How do we measure the impact of our practices upon child and family outcomes? How is this practice working with our Native American population?
