ABSTRACT The monitoring and control of the temperature in Preheater Cyclone is the main work of this project. The parameters like the temperature of the limestone has to be measured and critically monitored for reliable and safe operation of the preheater cyclone. This kind of operation with critical importance can be carried out efficiently and implemented employing Radio Frequency.

PREHEATER CYCLONE
NEED OF THE PROJECT In the cement manufacturing process ID fan is used as an exhausting process to maintain the temperature. Increasing the ID fan speed increases the temperature of the cyclone which in turn shutdown the Kiln.To avoid this, water is sprayed in preheater cyclone to reduce temperature.

BLOCK DESCRIPTION The temperature of the Preheater Cyclone is fed to the Embedded controller unit, and the data are transmitted through the RF module. Devices will be controlled by relay unit and alert is given by alert module. In the Receiver section the data are received from the RF and it is monitoring in the LCD.
