Interactive Tick Chart www.communication4all.co.uk

Notes for teachers This tick chart uses action buttons and custom animation. The mouse click to forward through slides is disabled throughout and you will need to move through the slides using the action buttons in the bottom right of each slide. When filling in the actual tick chart (slide 3): use the add picture/clip art option templates on the left of the slide to add up to 5 items to tally. You could use this chart , for example, to tally eye colour or ways of travelling to school. Behind each blue rectangle is a hidden tick symbol. When you are viewing as a slide show, your arrow cursor will change to a finger pointer when your mouse is over these shapes. When you se the finger pointer you can click on the rectangles to reveal a tick. The ticks will automatically be counted up on the right hand side of each slide. I have left outlines around the rectangular shapes so you can clearly see where to click in order. You will only be able to see how the ticks are revealed when viewing as a slide show. You can tally items up to 10 times each.
