ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQ In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the Merciful.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

á½ãkåÇádãQ áAEáËáä\ÂB âeãXáXå¶áB ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, I begin glorifying You with Your Praise.

áÀãäËáÇãQ ãPBáÒáä|Ãã çjãäkátâÆ áYåÊáB áÑ You direct towards what is right through Your Grace.

áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB âÈácånáB áYåÊáB áÀáäÊáB âYåËá»åÖáB áÑ ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÑ ãÒå·á¯åÂB ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Ø㶠I am convinced that You are the most Merciful in matters of forgiveness and mercy,

ãUáÇã»áäËÂB áÑ ãÁCá¿áäËÂB ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Ø㶠áÌå×ãRãºCá¯âÇåÂB âäkáwáB áÑ and most severe in matters of warning and retribution,

and the most mighty in matters of power and magnificence. ãUáÇá«á¯åÂB áÑ ãAEáÖãoåRã¿åÂB ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Ø㶠áÌåÖãoãäRá`áXâÇåÂB âÈá«å®áB áÑ and the most mighty in matters of power and magnificence.

áÀãXáÃáNåtáÆ áÑ áÀãMEá®âj Ø㶠Øã áYåÊãláB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O’ Alláh You have allowed me to supplicate to You and ask from You.

ØãWáÒå®áj âÈå×ãcán CáÖ åSã_áB áÑ ØãXácåkãÆ â°å×ãÇás CáÖ å°áÇåsCᶠThen hear my praise, O’ One who hears all, and answer my call, O’ Merciful,

ØãWáoå\á® ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ åÄãºáB áÑ and decrease my mistakes, O most Forgiving.

CáÏáXå_áäoᶠåkẠèUáQåoâ¾ åÌãÆ ØãÏÂãB CáÖ åÈá¿á¶ CáÏáXå·áxá¾ åkẠèÅåÒâÇâÎ áÑ How often, O my God, You have relieved me of troubles, how much grief You have dispelled,

CáÏáWåoáxáÊ åkẠèUáÇåcán áÑ CáÏáXåÃáºáB åkẠèTáoå\á® áÑ how many mistakes You have prevented, how many blessings You have spread,

CáÏáXå¿á¿á¶ åkẠèAÞáQ ãUá»åÃác áÑ and how many series of afflictions You have separated.

BækáÂáÑ áÙ áäÑ æUáRãcCá{ åmãháäXáÖ åÈá ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who has not taken a wife nor a son,

ãÀåÃâÇåÂB Ø㶠çÀåÖãoáw âÐáä åÌâ¿áÖ åÈá áÑ who has no partner in His Kingdom,

Bæoå×ãRå¿áW âÍåoãäRá¾ áÑ ãäÁâämÂB áÌãäÆ çäØãÂáÑ âÐáä åÌâ¿áäÖ åÈá áÑ who has no friend to protect Him from humiliation, so magnify Him with a great Magnificence.

CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÍãkãÆCádáÆ ã°å×ãÇá`ãQ ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh for all His praiseworthy acts,

CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÐãÇá¯ãÊ ã°å×ãÇá_ ÔÃá® for all His favours and blessings.

ãÐã¿åÃâÆ Ø㶠âÐá áäjEá£âÆ áÙ ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who has no opposition in His Kingdom,

ãÍãoåÆáB Ø㶠âÐá á­ãpCáËâÆ áÙ áÑ nor any challenge to His command.

ãÐã»åÃág Ø㶠âÐá áÀåÖãoáw áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who has no partner in creation,

ãÐãXáÇá«á® Ø㶠âÐá áÐå×ãRáw áÙ áÑ nor anyone like Him in His Greatness.

âÍâoåÆáB ã¼åÃáhåÂB Ø㶠ØãwCá·åÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh, His commands operate over His creation,

âÍâkå`áÆ ãÅáoá¿åÂCãQ âoãÎCáä«ÂB âÍâkåÇác áÑ and his Praise is evident through His Generosity,

âÍákáÖ ãjåÒâ`åÂCãQ ã¨ãsCáRåÂB whose bestowal stretches out liberally.

âÐâËãMDáqág â}â»åËáW áÙ ÕãmáäÂB His treasures never decrease,

CæÆáoá¾ áäÑ BæjåÒâ_ áäÙãB ãACá§á¯åÂB âTáoå\á¾ âÍâkåÖãqáW áÙ áÑ (rather) the frequency of His Giving increases His Generosity and Kindness.

âPCáäÎáÒåÂB âqåÖãqá¯åÂB áÒâÎ âÐáäÊãB Surely He is the Mighty, the Bestower.

èoå×ã\á¾ åÌãäÆ æÚå×ãÃẠáÀâÃáNåsáB ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh I ask You a little from much,

èUáÇå×ã«á® ãÐå×áÂãB ØãQ èUá_Các á°áÆ although I am in great need of it,

çÈåÖãkẠâÐåËá® á½CáËã² áÑ while You are eternally needless of it,

çoå×ãtáäÖ çÄåÏás áÀå×áÃá® áÒâÎ áÑ çoå×ã\á¾ ÕãkåËã® áÒâÎ áÑ though it is a lot for me, while it is easy and simple for You.

ØãXáNå×ã§ág åÌá® á½ápâÑCá`áW áÑ ØãRåÊál åÌá® á½áÒå·á® áäÉãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, indeed Your forgiveness of my sins and Your overlooking my faults,

ØãÃáÇá® ãeå×ãRẠÔÃá® á½áoåXãs áÑ ØãÇåÃ⪠åÌá® áÀádå·á{ áÑ Your pardoning my oppression, Your hiding my ugly deeds,

ØãÆåoâ_ ãoå×ã\á¾ åÌá® áÀáÇåÃãc áÑ and Your forbearing my many wrongs,

ÕãkåÇá® áÑ ÕãCá§ág åÌãÆ áÉCá¾ CáÆ ákåËã® done intentionally or unintentionally,

áÀåËãÆ âÐâRã_åÒáXåsáB áÙ CáÆ áÀâÃáNåsáB åÉáB Ø㶠ØãËá¯áÇå¦áB tempted me to ask from You what I did not deserve from You,

áÀãXáÇåcáän åÌãÆ ØãËáXåºápán ÕãmáäÂB which You (still) gave me out of Your Mercy,

áÀãXáQCá_ãB åÌãÆ ØãËáXå¶áäoá® áÑ áÀãWánåk⺠åÌãÆ ØãËáXåÖánáB áÑ provided me by Your Power, and made known to me from Your answers.

CætãÊåGáXåtâÆ áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ CæËãÆD á½åÒâ®åjáB âVåoã|ᶠSo I became habituated to call You trustingly and ask You familiarly,

neither fearing nor scared, æÚã_áÑ áÙ áäÑ Cæ·ãMEg Ý neither fearing nor scared,

áÀå×áÂãB ãÐå×㶠âVåká|ẠCáÇå×㶠áÀå×áÃá® æäÙãkâÆ but with confidence in You for what I intended.

áÀå×áÃá® ØãÃåÏá`ãQ âYåRáXá® ØãäËá® Gá§åQáB åÉãCᶠThen if there was a delay (in Your answer), I would blame You, due to my ignorance,

ãnåÒâÆâÛB ãUáRãºCá¯ãQ áÀãÇåÃã¯ã Øãä çoå×ág áÒâÎ ØãäËá® Gá§åQáB ÕãmáäÂB áäÄá¯á áÑ and perhaps the delay was best for me, for You know the outcome of all affairs.

áäØáÃá® áÀåËãäÆ èÈå×ãNáä èkåRá® ÔÃá® áoáRå{áB CæÇåÖãoá¾ ÔæÂåÒáÆ ánáB åÈáÃᶠI have not seen a more generous master patient with a wretched slave, than You are with me.

áÀåËá® ØãäÂáÑâCᶠØãÊåÒâ®åkáW áÀáäÊãB ØãäQán CáÖ My Lord, You call me and I turn away from You,

áÀå×áÂãB â¤áä³áRáWáB áÑ áäØáÂãB âSáäRádáXáW áÑ You show affection to me and I show hatred towards You,

áÀå×áÃá® áÁâäÒá§áäXÂB áØã áäÉáCá¾ áÀåËãÆ âÄáRåºáB áÚᶠáäØáÂãB âjáäjáÒáXáW áÑ You display Your love for me and I do not respond, as though I am above You.

áäØáÂãB ãÉCátåcãÛåB áÑ Øã ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÌãÆ áÀãÂBál áÀå¯áËåÇáÖ åÈáÃᶠDu`á al-Iftitá< áäØáÂãB ãÉCátåcãÛåB áÑ Øã ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÌãÆ áÀãÂBál áÀå¯áËåÇáÖ åÈáÃᶠBut this does not prevent You from having mercy on me, being good to me,

áÀãÆáoá¾ áÑ á½ãjåÒâ`ãQ áäØáÃá® ãÄâä£á·áäXÂB áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÀãÆáoá¾ áÑ á½ãjåÒâ`ãQ áäØáÃá® ãÄâä£á·áäXÂB áÑ and favouring me, through Your Generosity and Nobility.

áÀãÊCátåcãB ãÄå£á·ãQ ãÐå×áÃá® åkâ_ áÑ áÄãÎCá`åÂB á½ákåRá® åÈácånCᶠDu`á al-Iftitá< áÀãÊCátåcãB ãÄå£á·ãQ ãÐå×áÃá® åkâ_ áÑ áÄãÎCá`åÂB á½ákåRá® åÈácånCᶠSo please (continue to) have mercy on your ignorant slave, and be kind to him through the excellence of Your Grace.

çÈåÖãoá¾ çjBáÒá_ áÀáäÊãB Surely You are the Bountiful, the Generous. Du`á al-Iftitá< çÈåÖãoá¾ çjBáÒá_ áÀáäÊãB Surely You are the Bountiful, the Generous.

ãÀåÃâ·åÂB Õãoå`âÆ ãÀåÃâÇåÂB ãÀãÂCáÆ ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÀåÃâ·åÂB Õãoå`âÆ ãÀåÃâÇåÂB ãÀãÂCáÆ ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh, the Owner of the Kingdom, who makes the ships sail,

ãbCáRå{ãÛåB ã¼ãÂCᶠãbCáÖãäoÂB ãoãähátâÆ causes the dawn to break, Du`á al-Iftitá< ãbCáRå{ãÛåB ã¼ãÂCᶠãbCáÖãäoÂB ãoãähátâÆ controls the wind, causes the dawn to break,

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãäPán ãÌåÖãäkÂB ãÉCáäÖáj Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãäPán ãÌåÖãäkÂB ãÉCáäÖáj is the authority on the Day of Judgement, (and) is the Lord of the worlds.

ãÐãÇåÃã® ákå¯áQ ãÐãÇåÃãc ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐãÇåÃã® ákå¯áQ ãÐãÇåÃãc ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh for His patience despite His knowledge.

ãÐãWánåk⺠ákå¯áQ ãÍãÒå·á® ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐãWánåk⺠ákå¯áQ ãÍãÒå·á® ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ All Praise is for Alláh for His forgiveness despite His power.

ãÐãRá£á² Ø㶠ãÐãWCáÊáB ãÁåÒ⦠ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐãRá£á² Ø㶠ãÐãWCáÊáB ãÁåÒ⦠ÔÃá® ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ All Praise is for Alláh for the lengthy respite He gives despite His anger,

âkåÖãoâÖ CáÆ ÔÃá® çnãjCẠáÒâÎ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< âkåÖãoâÖ CáÆ ÔÃá® çnãjCẠáÒâÎ áÑ though He has the power to do as He wills.

ã¼åÃáhåÂB ã¼ãÂCág ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB the creator of all creation, Du`á al-Iftitá< ã¼åÃáhåÂB ã¼ãÂCág ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh the creator of all creation,

ãbCáRå{ãÛB ã¼ãÂCᶠã¹åpãäoÂB ã¨ãsCáQ Du`á al-Iftitá< ãbCáRå{ãÛB ã¼ãÂCᶠã¹åpãäoÂB ã¨ãsCáQ the provider of plentiful sustenance, the cleaver of the dawn,

ãÅCá¯åÊãÛåB áÑ ãÄå£á·åÂB áÑ ãÅBáoå¾ãÛåB áÑ ãÁáÚá`åÂB Óãl Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÅCá¯åÊãÛåB áÑ ãÄå£á·åÂB áÑ ãÅBáoå¾ãÛåB áÑ ãÁáÚá`åÂB Óãl possessor of Glory and Honor, and Excellence and Blessings,

ÓÒå`áäËÂB ákãÏáxᶠáPâoẠáÑ ÓoâÖ áÚᶠákâ¯áQ ÕãmáäÂB Du`á al-Iftitá< ÓÒå`áäËÂB ákãÏáxᶠáPâoẠáÑ ÓoâÖ áÚᶠákâ¯áQ ÕãmáäÂB who is far and thus cannot be seen, but is close and thus witnesses secret conversations.

Blessed and Exalted be His name. Du`á al-Iftitá< ÔÂCá¯áW áÑ á½ánCáRáW Blessed and Exalted be His name.

âÐâÂãjCá¯âäÖ ç­ãpCáËâÆ âÐá áuå×á ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< âÐâÂãjCá¯âäÖ ç­ãpCáËâÆ âÐá áuå×á ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who has no equal who argues with Him,

âÍâkã¢Cá¯âäÖ çoå×ãÏ᪠áÙ áÑ âÐâÃã¾CáxâäÖ çÐå×ãRáw áÙ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< âÍâkã¢Cá¯âäÖ çoå×ãÏ᪠áÙ áÑ âÐâÃã¾CáxâäÖ çÐå×ãRáw áÙ áÑ nor anyone similar to Him, nor any Helper to support Him.

âAEáÇá«â¯åÂB ãÐãXáÇá«á¯ã á°á¢BáÒáW áÑ áADáäqã®áÛåB ãÐãWáäqã¯ãQ áoáÏẠDu`á al-Iftitá< âAEáÇá«â¯åÂB ãÐãXáÇá«á¯ã á°á¢BáÒáW áÑ áADáäqã®áÛåB ãÐãWáäqã¯ãQ áoáÏẠHe overpowers the mighty by His strength, and the great humble themselves before His greatness.

âAEáxáÖ CáÆ ãÐãWánåkâ»ãQ á´áÃáRᶠDu`á al-Iftitá< âAEáxáÖ CáÆ ãÐãWánåkâ»ãQ á´áÃáRᶠHe accomplishes what He wishes through His power.

ãÐåÖãjCáÊâB áÌå×ãc ØãËâRå×ã`âÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐåÖãjCáÊâB áÌå×ãc ØãËâRå×ã`âÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who answers me when I call Him,

ãÐå×ã|å®áB CáÊáB áäÑ èTánåÒá® áäÄâ¾ áäØáÃá® âoâXåtáÖ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐå×ã|å®áB CáÊáB áäÑ èTánåÒá® áäÄâ¾ áäØáÃá® âoâXåtáÖ áÑ covers all my faults yet I disobey Him,

ãÐåÖãpCá_âB áÚᶠáäØáÃá® áUáÇå¯ãäËÂB âÈãä«á¯âÖ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< ãÐåÖãpCá_âB áÚᶠáäØáÃá® áUáÇå¯ãäËÂB âÈãä«á¯âÖ áÑ increases His bounties on me but I do not acknowledge them.

ØãÊCá§å®áB åkẠèUáNå×ãËáÎ èUáRãÎåÒáÆ åÌãÆ åÈá¿á¶ Du`á al-Iftitá< ØãÊCá§å®áB åkẠèUáNå×ãËáÎ èUáRãÎåÒáÆ åÌãÆ åÈá¿á¶ How many pleasant gifts He has given me,

Du`á al-Iftitá< ØãÊBánáB åkẠèUá»ãÊåÒâäÆ èUá`åÏáQ áÑ ØãÊCá·á¾ åkẠèUá¶åÒâháäÆ èUáÇå×ã«á® áÑ how many great fears He has removed, and how many delightful joys He has shown me.

CædãäRátâÆ âÍâoâ¾åláB áäÑ BækãÆCác ãÐå×áÃá® ØãËå[âCᶠDu`á al-Iftitá< CædãäRátâÆ âÍâoâ¾åláB áäÑ BækãÆCác ãÐå×áÃá® ØãËå[âCᶠThus I glorify Him, thanking Him and I remember Him with praise.

âÐâQCáQ â¼áÃå³âÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâQCá`ãc âÀáXåÏâÖ áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< âÐâQCáQ â¼áÃå³âÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâQCá`ãc âÀáXåÏâÖ áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All praise is for Alláh, whose curtains cannot be opened, whose doors cannot be locked,

âÐâÃãÆD âSáä×áhâÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâÃãMCás âäjáoâÖ áÙ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< âÐâÃãÆD âSáä×áhâÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâÃãMCás âäjáoâÖ áÙ áÑ who does not reject the one who asks Him, and who does not disappoint the one who places hope in Him.

áÌå×ã·ãMEáhåÂB âÌãÆåKâÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ã·ãMEáhåÂB âÌãÆåKâÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh, who provides safety for the frightened,

áÌå×ã·á¯å£áXåtâÇåÂB â°á¶åoáÖ áÑ áÌå×ãdãÂCáä|ÂB Øãä`áËâÖ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ã·á¯å£áXåtâÇåÂB â°á¶åoáÖ áÑ áÌå×ãdãÂCáä|ÂB Øãä`áËâÖ áÑ rescues the virtuous, raises the oppressed,

Cæ¾åÒâÃâÆ âÀãÃåÏâÖ áÑ áÌåÖãoãRå¿áXåtâÇåÂB â°á£áÖ áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< Cæ¾åÒâÃâÆ âÀãÃåÏâÖ áÑ áÌåÖãoãRå¿áXåtâÇåÂB â°á£áÖ áÑ humiliates the proud, destroys kings,

áÌåÖãoágD â¸ãÃåháXåtáÖ áÑ and replaces them with others. Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌåÖãoágD â¸ãÃåháXåtáÖ áÑ and replaces them with others.

áÌåÖãnCáäRá`åÂB ãÈã{CẠãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌåÖãnCáäRá`åÂB ãÈã{CẠãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂB áÑ All Praise is for Alláh, who crushes the tyrants,

áÌå×ãQãnCáÏåÂB ã½ãnåkâÆ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãoå×ãRâÆ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ãQãnCáÏåÂB ã½ãnåkâÆ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãoå×ãRâÆ annihilates the oppressors, watches over the runaways,

áÌå×ãgãoå|áXåtâÇåÂB ãiåÖãoá{ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãÁCá¿áÊ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ãgãoå|áXåtâÇåÂB ãiåÖãoá{ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãÁCá¿áÊ punishes the oppressors, assists those who cry for help,

áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãkáÇáXå¯âÆ áÌå×ãRãÂCáä§ÂB ãVCá_Các ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Du`á al-Iftitá< áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãkáÇáXå¯âÆ áÌå×ãRãÂCáä§ÂB ãVCá_Các ã°ã¢åÒáÆ grants the requests of the beseechers, and is the confidence of the believers.

Du`á al-Iftitá< CáÏâÊCáä¿âs áÑ âAEáÇáätÂB âká®åoáW ãÐãXá×åxág åÌãÆ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All praise is for Alláh in whose awe the skies and its inhabitants shake,

CáÎânCáäÇâ® áÑ â¡ånáÛåB â¸â_åoáW áÑ Du`á al-Iftitá< CáÎânCáäÇâ® áÑ â¡ånáÛåB â¸â_åoáW áÑ the earth and its inhabitants tremble,

CáÏãWBáoáÇá² Ø㶠âeáRåtáÖ åÌáÆ áÑ ânCádãRåÂB â^åÒâÇáW áÑ the sea and all that swims in it billow.

BámÏã CáÊBákáÎ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All praise is for Alláh who guided us to this

âÐäÃÂB CáÊBákáÎ åÉáB áÙ åÒá áÕãkáXåÏáËã CáäËâ¾ CáÆ áÑ and we would not have been guided had Alláh not guided us to this.

å¼áÃåhâÖ åÈá áÑ â¼âÃåháÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃã âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who creates but is not created,

âÈá¯å§âÖ áÙ áÑ âÈã¯å§âÖ áÑ â¹ápåoâÖ áÙ áÑ â¹âpåoáÖ áÑ gives sustenance but is not given sustenance, feeds but is not fed

ÔWåÒáÇåÂB Øã×ådâÖ áÑ áAEá×åcáÛåB âYå×ãÇâÖ áÑ causes the living to die, and gives life to the dead.

âoå×áhåÂB ãÍãká×ãQ âVåÒâÇáÖ áäÙ çäØác áÒâÎ áÑ He is Ever-Living and does not die, (and) in His control is all good,

çoåÖãkẠèAåØáw ãäÄâ¾ ÔÃá® áÒâÎ áÑ and He has power over all things.

áÀãWáÙCásãn ã´ãäÃáRâÆ áÑ á½ãäoãs ã¬ã¶Các áÑ áÀã»åÃág åÌãÆ áÀãWáoá×ãg áÑ the best of Your creation, the preserver of Your secrets, and the preacher of Your messages,

Ô¾åpáB áÑ áÄáÇå¾áB áÑ áÄáÇå_áB áÑ áÌátåcáB áÑ áÄá£å¶áB the most superior, elegant, handsome, perfect, upright,

ÔËåsáB áÑ áoáÏå¦áB áÑ áSá×å¦áB áÑ ÔÇåÊáB áÑ prosperous, pleasant, holy and sublime,

áYåÇáäcáoáW áÑ áYå¾ánCáQ áÑ áYå×áäÃá{ CáÆ áoá\å¾áB áÑ more than what You have blessed, given, had mercy,

sympathised and greeted, anyone from Your servants, Your Prophets, áÀãMEá×ãRåÊáB áÑ á½ãjCáRã® åÌãäÆ èkácáB ÔÃá® áYåÇáäÃás áÑ áYåËáäËádáW áÑ sympathised and greeted, anyone from Your servants, Your Prophets,

áÀã»åÃág åÌãÆ áÀå×áÃá® ãUáÆBáoá¿åÂB ãÄåÎáB áÑ áÀãWáÒå·ã{ áÑ áÀãÃâsân áÑ Your Messengers, Your chosen ones and the honorable ones from Your creation.

áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãoå×ãÆáB èäØãÃá® ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, and send Your blessings on `Alí, the commander of the faithful,

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãäPán ãÁåÒâsán ãäØã{áÑ áÑ and the successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

áÀã»åÃág ÔÃá® áÀãXáä`âc áÑ áÀãÂåÒâsán ØãgáB áÑ áÀãä×ãÂáÑ áÑ á½ãkåRá® Your servant, Your friend, the brother of Your Messenger, Your proof over creation,

ãÈå×ã«á¯åÂB ãGáRáäËÂB áÑ ÓoåRâ¿åÂB áÀãXáÖB áÑ Your great sign, and the mighty awaited news.

ãTáoãÎCáä§ÂB ãUá»åÖãäkãä|ÂB ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ And send blessings on the truthful, pure (lady)

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãAEátãÊ ãTákãä×ás ãADáoåÎáäqÂB áUáÇã¦CᶠFátima al­Zahrá, the leader of the women of the worlds.

ÓkâÏåÂB ãØáÆCáÆãB áÑ ãUáÇåcáäoÂB ãØá§åRãs ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ And send Your blessings on the two grandsons of mercy (unto the world), the leaders of guidance,

ãUáäËá`åÂB ãÄåÎáB ãPCáRáw åÕákãä×ás ãÌå×átâdåÂB áÑ ãÌátádåÂáB al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the leaders of the youths of Paradise.

ãÌå×átâdåÂB áÌåQ ãäØãÃá® , áÌå×ãÇãÃåtâÇåÂB ãUáäÇãMáB ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ And send blessings on the leaders of Muslims, `Alí son of Husayn,

èäØãÃá® áÌåQ ãkáäÇádâÆ áÑ Muhammad son of `Alí,

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÌåQ ãoá·å¯á_ áÑ Ja`far son of Muhammad,

èoá·å¯á_ ãÌåQ ÔásåÒâÆ áÑ Músa son of Ja`far,

ÔsåÒâÆ ãÌåQ ãäØãÃá® áÑ `Alí son of Músa,

èäØãÃá® ãÌåQ ãkáäÇádâÆ áÑ Muhammad son of `Alí,

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÌåQ ãäØãÃá® áÑ `Alí son of Muhammad,

èäØãÃá® ãÌåQ ãÌátádåÂB áÑ Hasan son of `Alí,

ãäÕãkåÏáÇåÂB áÕãjCáÏåÂB ã¸áÃáhåÂB áÑ and the successor, the guide, and the rightly guided.

á½ãjáÚãQ Ø㶠áÀãMEáËáÆâB áÑ á½ãjCáRã® ÔÃá® áÀã`á`âc (These are) Your proofs over Your servants, Your trustees on Your land.

æUáÇãMDáj æTáoå×ã\á¾ æTÒÃá{ Bless (them with) numerous and continuous blessings.

ãÄáäÆáKâÇåÂB ãÈãMEá»åÂB á½ãoåÆáB ãäØãÂáÑ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh send blessings on the guardian of Your orders, the one who will rise,

áÌå×ãQáäoá»âÇåÂB áÀãXá¿ãMÞáÇãQ âÐáä·âc áÑ ãoá«áXåËâÇåÂB ãÁåká¯åÂB áÑ the one hoped for, the awaited justice. Surround him with Your favourite angels

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB áäPán CáÖ ãrâkâ»åÂB ãbåÑâoãQ âÍåkãäÖáB áÑ and assist him with the holy spirit, O Lord of the worlds.

áÀãËåÖãkãQ áÈãMEá»åÂB áÑ áÀãQCáXã¾ ÔÂãB áØã®BáäkÂB âÐåÃá¯å_B áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, appoint him to invite towards Your book to establish Your religion.

ãÐãÃåRẠåÌãÆ áÌåÖãmáäÂB áYå·áÃåháXåsB CáÇá¾ ã¡ånáÛåB Ø㶠âÐå·ãÃåháXåsãB Make him the successor on the earth as You caused others to succeed before him.

âÐá âÐáXå×á£áWånB ÕãmáäÂB âÐáËåÖãj âÐá åÌãä¿áÆ Establish for him his religion which You have approved for him.

CæNå×áw áÀãQ â½ãoåxâÖ áÙ á½âkâRå¯áÖ CæËåÆáB ãÐã¶åÒág ãkå¯áQ åÌãÆ âÐåÂãkåQáB Give him security after fear (so) he worships You and does not associate any with You.

ãÐãQ åoã|áXåÊB áÑ âÍåoâ|åÊB áÑ ãÐãQ åpãqå®áB áÑ âÍáäqã®áB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, give him power and through him strengthen (others), help him and help (others) through him.

Bæoå×ãtáäÖ CædåXᶠâÐá åeáXå¶B áÑ BæqåÖãqá® Bæoå|áÊ âÍåoâ|åÊB áÑ Du`á al-Iftitáh Bæoå×ãtáäÖ CædåXᶠâÐá åeáXå¶B áÑ BæqåÖãqá® Bæoå|áÊ âÍåoâ|åÊB áÑ Help him with a mighty help, and give him an easy victory,

Bæoå×ã|äÊ CæÊCá§åÃâs áÀåÊâká åÌãÆ âÐá åÄá¯å_B áÑ and grant him an assisting authority from You.

áÀãä×ãRáÊ áUáäËâs áÑ áÀáËåÖãj ãÐãQ åoãÏåªáB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, make manifest through him Your religion and the way of Your Prophet,

èkácáB áUá¶CáháÆ ãä¼ádåÂB áÌãÆ èOå×áxãQ áØã·åháXåtáÖ áÙ ÔäXác ã¼åÃáhåÂB áÌãäÆ until nothing from the truth remains hidden from any human being.

èUáÇåÖãoá¾ èUáÂåÑáj Ø㶠áÀå×áÂãB âSá²åoáÊ CáäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, we earnestly desire from You an honored state,

âÐáÃåÎáB áÑ á¹Cá·ãäËÂB CáÏãQ âäÁãmâW áÑ âÐáÃåÎáB áÑ áÅáÚåsãÛåB CáÏãQ âäqã¯âW through which You strengthen Islám and its people and degrade hypocrisy and its followers.

áÀãXá®CᦠÔÂãB ãTCá®âäkÂB áÌãÆ CáÏå×㶠CáËâÃá¯å`áW áÑ And make us in it amongst the inviters towards Your obedience,

áÀãÃå×ãRás ÔÂãB ãTájCá»åÂB áÑ and the leaders to Your path.

ãTáoãgáÛåB áÑ Cá×åÊâäkÂB áUáÆBáoá¾ CáÏãQ CáËâºâpåoáW áÑ Give us through it honor of the world and the Hereafter.

âÍCáËåÃãäÇádᶠãä¼ádåÂB áÌãÆ CáËáXå¶áäoá® CáÆ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, what You have made known to us of the truth, help us bear it,

âÍCáËå³ãäÃáRᶠâÐåËá® CáÊåoâ|ẠCáÆ áÑ and what we fall short, make us reach it.

CáËá®åká{ ãÐãQ åSá¯åwB áÑ CáËá\á¯áw ãÐãQ åÈâÇåÂB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, through him put order in our affairs, gather and unite our flocks,

CáËáXáäÃ㺠ãÐãQ åoãä\á¾ áÑ CáËá»åXᶠãÐãQ å¼âWånB áÑ join together our separations, increase our minority,

CáËáÃãMEá® ãÐãQ ãÌå²áB áÑ CáËáXáäÂãl ãÐãQ åpãqå®áB áÑ lift us from degradation, relieve our miseries,

CáÊáoå»á¶ ãÐãQ åoâRå_B áÑ CáËãÆáoå³âÆ åÌá® ãÐãQ ã¤åºB áÑ pull us out of our debts, remove our poverty,

CáÊáoåtâ® ãÐãQ åoãätáÖ áÑ CáËáXáäÃág ãÐãQ áäkâs áÑ fill the gaps in our confusion, ease our difficulties,

CáÊáoåsáB ãÐãQ áäÀⶠáÑ CáËáÎåÒâ_âÑ ãÐãQ å¤ãä×áQ áÑ brighten our faces, free our prisoners,

CáÊákå×ã®BáÒáÆ ãÐãQ åqã`åÊáB áÑ CáËáXáRãÃᦠãÐãQ åeã`åÊáB áÑ grant our requests, fulfill our promises,

CáËáÂåKâs ãÐãQ CáËã§å®áB áÑ CáËáWáÒå®áj ãÐãQ åSã`áXåsB áÑ answer our calls, grant us our requests,

CáËáÂCáÆD ãTáoãgáÛåB áÑ Cá×åÊâákÂB áÌãÆ ãÐãQ CáËå³ãäÃáQ áÑ cause us to obtain what we hope for, from this world and the hereafter,

CáËãXáRå²án á¹åÒᶠãÐãQ CáËã§å®áB áÑ and give us more than our expectations.

áÌå×ã§å¯âÇåÂB â°ásåÑáB áÑ áÌå×ãÂåÑâKåtáÇåÂB áoå×ág CáÖ O the best of all who are asked and the most generous of bestowers,

CáËãQåÒâÃ⺠á¬å×á² ãÐãQ åSãÎåláB áÑ CáÊánåÑâkâ{ ãÐãQ ã¸åwãB through him, cleanse our chests, remove the stains of anger and hatred from our hearts,

áÀãÊålãCãQ ã ä¼ádåÂB áÌãÆ ãÐå×㶠á¸ãÃâXågB CáÇã ãÐãQ CáÊãkåÎB áÑ and guide us to the truth on disputed matters, by Your permission.

èÈå×ã»áXåtâäÆ è¥Báoã{ ÔÂãB âAEáxáW åÌáÆ ÕãkåÏáW áÀáäÊãB Surely You guide whom You wish to the right path.

CáÊãäÑâká® áÑ á½ãäÑâká® ÔÃá® ãÐãQ CáÊåoâ|åÊB áÑ Through him help us to overcome Your enemy and our enemy.

áÌå×ãÆD ãä¼ádåÂB áÐÂãB O God of truth, Amen.

ãÐãÂB áÑ ãÐå×áÃá® áÀâWBáÒáÃá{ CáËãä×ãRáÊ ákå»á¶ áÀå×áÂãB BåÒâ¿åxáÊ CáäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, we complain to You of the absence of our Prophet, Your blessings be on him and his family,

CáÊãäÑâká® áTáoå\á¾ áÑ CáËãä×ãÂáÑ áUáRå×á² áÑ the concealment of our leader, the abundance of our enemies,

CáËãQ ãÌáXã·åÂB áTáäkãw áÑ CáÊãjáká® áUáäÃ㺠áÑ the scarcity of our numbers, the severity of our trials,

CáËå×áÃá® ãÉCáÆáäqÂB áoâÎCá«áW áÑ and the victory of the era against us.

ãÐãÂB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá|ᶠSo bless Muhammad and his family

âÐâÃãä`á¯âW áÀåËãäÆ èeåXá·ãQ áÀãÂBál ÔÃá® CáäËã®áB áÑ and help us overcome that by granting us an immediate victory,

âÍâoãÏå«âW èä¼ác ãÉCá§åÃâs áÑ âÍâäqã¯âW èoå|áÊ áÑ âÐâ·ãxå¿áW èäoâ£ãQ áÑ dispersing miseries, giving us a help that strengthens, providing an authority of truth which You manifest,

CáÎCáËâtãRåÃâW áÀåËãäÆ èUá×ã¶Cá® áÑ CáÎCáËâÃãäÃá`âW áÀåËãäÆ èUáÇåcán áÑ a mercy from You which is clear to us, and a well­being from You which clothes us
