What are Brinton’s six stages of Revolution? Daily Learning Goal: I can construct written comparisons of Revolutions across time. Warm up: Use the section Model of a Revolution, from Revolutions Across Time (p.272-273) to answer the following questions: What are Brinton’s six stages of Revolution? At what stage do radicals take over the revolution? Why do they take it over? According to Brinton, what is required to end the chaos of revolutions?

Reviewing and Comparing Revolutions Discuss and answer with your partner: Which of the revolutions on the time line, besides the French Revolution, is most like the model? Explain why. Which revolution is least like the model? Why?
