Expectations from EU Recognition of tourism as a stand-alone EU policy: sufficient budget allocation Maximise the potential of EU financial policies and instruments dedicated to tourism: better integration and coordination with other EU policies Remain competitive: consolidate the image of Europe as a destination; increase support for integrated, sustainable and ethic tourism practices.
