THE TRIAD MEETING

Conduct a TRIAD Meeting … …for each intern you supervise within the first week of placement Participants: Intern Mentor University Supervisor

Discuss Intern’s Responsibilities Time sheets Attendance at school meetings Lesson plan binder E-Portfolio assignments Being a team member Maintaining professionalism

Intern’s lesson plans should: Be submitted to the mentor TWO DAYS prior to teaching the lesson Follow the NDMU lesson plan template OR An agreed-upon lesson template used by the school or professional organizations

Discuss what you expect each time you visit & observe SEE & REVIEW That day’s formal lesson plan An up-to-date Lesson Plan Binder SIT & DISCUSS Post-lesson discussion Completion of e-Portfolio assignments Progress so far in the placement

Discuss submission of upcoming e-Portfolio assignments All work must be: 1 Uploaded to e-Portfolio 2 Submitted in hard copy to the Site Coordinator As the assignments are completed Before the end of the placement
