Short history Established in 2001 (first enrollment of students) – daily classes and open distance system; 2004: online system (based on the experience of a project related to online education – Virtual University of Business); Currently: 50 (daily classes) and 250 (online) students – per year.

Students Private companies (IT, engineering, banking sector, advertising, market research); Public administration (managing authorities and intermediate bodies for the implementation of Structural Instruments); PIUs for various projects funded by: EU, World Bank, other international donors; NGOs.

Curricula (3 semesters) Project Management (2 semesters); EU-funded projects; Globalization and European integration; Financial analysis of projects; Project team management; PM software; Project audit Applications, case studies (workshop).

Events “Managementul de proiect face diferenta”; attendance of major pm-related events: PM Forum, PM Vision, Unity through Diversity (speakers, co-organizers).

Research “The Perceived Social Relevance of Project Management in Romania” (2006 – 2008, national funding); Participation in the international research programme “Romania as a project-oriented nation” (2006); Research project on pm terms usage in Romania (own funding – 2007); International research programme on project orientation of higher education (result pending from the European Commission).
