Mrs. Hake’s Friday, Nov. 18th edition CLASSROOM 2016-2017 news Sneak Peak Week in Review: at Next Week We learned all about letter Z this week and turkeys! Throughout the week, we read books about Thanksgiving and how the Native Americans helped the Pilgrims and we made started making our 1st Thanksgiving book. We will use these to tell the story of the first Thanksgiving! We wrote about our disguised turkey and where we would hide if we were a turkey. We played many Thanksgiving learning games such as sounding out three letter words and matching them to the correct picture and putting the correct feathers on the correct turkey using beginning sounds. In math we explored ways to make ten such as 3 and 7, 5 and 4.
