Sequim High School 2016 Spring Sports

Baseball Head Coach: Dave Ditlefsen (11th year) Varsity: 14-9-1. Tied for 4th in Olympic League. JV: 15-4. JV league champs. Participants: 29 Team GPA: 2.73 (Varsity – 2.781) First ever District Champions (Co-Champs) Lost 3-0 in first round of State (Regionals) Back-to-back state appearances

Fastpitch Head Coach: Mike McFarlen (5th year) Varsity: 20-7 overall, 8-3 in League. 3rd place. JV: 9-7 Participants: 25 (no cuts) Team GPA: 3.148 (Varsity – 3.22) Took 5th at districts Qualified for state tournament for 6th consecutive year Only team in league to qualify for day 2 of state (top 8 finish)

Girls Tennis Head Coach: Justine Wagner (3rd year) Assisted by Mark Textor Record: 9-7 overall. 4th in league Participants: 20 (no cuts) Team GPA: 3.14 No players to districts or state. #1 player sprained knee before playoffs.

Boys Soccer Head Coach: Dave Brasher (18th year) Varsity: 11-6, Tied for 2nd place in league JV: 11-2. JV league champs Participants: 39 Team GPA: 2.95 (Varsity – 3.01) Lost in first round of districts
