War on Two Fronts While the Battle of Britain was going on so were battles in the Mediterranean and Northern Africa.
War on Two Fronts The immediate goals of the Italians were to capture oil-rich Middle East and the Suez Canal. They also invaded Greece to secure invasion of Egypt.
