Winner keeps the jar. Ongoing Prevention or Awareness Displays Display A book display will be set up for all the prevention or awareness weeks that the counselors promote. Oct. 8-14 Teen Read Week Book Promotion/ Window Display Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users.  This year’s theme is "Read for the fun of it!" Library staff will leverage this theme to highlight all of the resources and services available through the video announcements, displays, and instructional posters.
