HOW DO WE KNOW ABOUT THEM? SOME DINOSAURS ARE QUICKLY COVERED WITH MUD OR LAVA WHEN THEY DIE. BONES ARE PRESERVED AND BECOME FOSSILS

PEOPLE WHO STUDY DINOSAURS ARE PALEONTOLOGISTS. THEY EXCAVATE AND FIND DINOSAUR SKELETONS.

SOME DINOSAURS EAT PLANTS. THEY ARE HERBIVORES.

OTHER DINOSAURS EAT MEAT. THEY ARE CARNIVORES. THEY HAVE GOT BIG TEETH

SOME DINOSAURS ARE HUGE! OTHER DINOSAURS ARE SMALL
