Our neighbour Jim put up a nice display around his house and the girls were very excited.

Another neighbour in the next street, across from the school, put up a big display so we went to visit. The bubbles machine is a big attraction for the neighbourhood kids (right). The windows along the house display various scenes like Santa’s workshop, Mrs Clause’ kitchen, polar animals etc – lots of details!

The girls were beside themselves with excitement between the bubbles, the lights and the moving toys... There were lots of inflated items (like this huge Santa gate) but I didn’t say anything so Hahgoot just ignored them and stayed calm.

The inflated snow globes actually have flakes moving inside them!

The girls of course got some candy cane before leaving... The most impressive feature, in my eyes, were the “stained glass” windows upstairs which are made from fabric and were handmade by the owner of the house. The girls of course got some candy cane before leaving...

They even wrapped the street sign like a candy cane! In our next presentation: Christmas celebrations
