Background Most public transit vehicles in California record both audio and video Access implemented video recording in 2010; audio capability turned off Gathering input for move to turn audio recording on

Reasons to Record Audio Perception – increased safety to both riders and drivers; some behaviors will be deterred Facts – more complete investigations Improved customer service Reduced fraudulent claims No expectation of privacy on a public transit vehicle
