Summer Reading 2012-2013
Summer Reading Assignment Presentations begin this Friday, August 31st You will be required to present the assignment you have completed to the entire class for 15% of your summer reading grade that will be factored into your 1st MP grade. Requirements for presentation: Speak clearly with good volume and exhibit a clear understanding of both your novel and the assignment that you completed. If you received a book from the school district, you will need to turn that book in on the day of your presentation.

Movie Poster (promotional piece) Artistic/Creative/Neat Poster Size (not handout) Should include most of the following: Tagline Actors/Director Rating Review
Diorama Artistic/Creative Neat MUST BE IN 3D May be a scene from the book or an overall depiction
Mobile Must have movement Neat/Organized May Include: Literary Elements/Term and the Examples Pictures
Other choices: Personal Narrative- Theme of novel and how it relates to your life--- must be 3 pages; MLA format; typed New chapter/prologue/epilogue- must be 3 pages typed; MLA format Scrapbook- Artistic/Creative /Neat/Organized; Must have pictures! Game- Functional/Neat/Clear– Must have directions and game pieces Newspaper- Front page with 3 articles; typed; neat/organized
