“Gather & Grow” Opening Prayer Almighty God, since 1881, you have guided our Saint Mary Parish Family of Faith. You have strengthened us with your gracious gifts of faith, hope and love. In these early years of the 21st century, we still need the guidance of your Holy Spirit as we continue to warmly welcome and embrace all those who want to follow your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. As we embark on our plan to refurbish and expand our Church, we do so as an expression of our Catholic faith, the faith of the Church in which we were baptized, the faith that your Word and Sacraments nourish every day. Guide us as we enhance the Church in which our spiritual ancestors gathered for worship. Bless us with all the graces we need to do in our time what the first Parish Community did back in its own day. Thank you for walking with us on our faith journey, for the blessings showered upon our Parish during the course of its long history and for all of our Parishioners who have given of their time, talent and treasure to make Saint Mary Parish what it is today. All of this we ask in the name of your Son and through the intercession of Mary, Mother of God and Patroness of our Parish. Amen
