The object is Records of Guinness * the relevance is that Guinness Records Book has become very popular * the aim is to explore information about world records * the question is why people have got involved in reading Guinness World Records Book * the hypothesis is people have taken so much interest in this book as they want to be in the information about the world famous records * methods of the research: surfing the net, picking information in the magazines: «Prosport», «Amazing people», watching «Discovery channel».

How did Guinness Book start? * One day, Hugh Beaver went with his friends went hunting, and they had an argument if «a grouse is the fastest bird in Europe». Actually, none of them couldn’t answer that question. * Finally, they decided to create a book in which things which are unique could be registered. * Hugh Beaver was working in a brewery «Guinness», that’s why he called this book «Records of Guinness». * This Guinness Records Book entered our life. * The first Guinness book appeared in 1955 year.

The first record * In fact, the first record was “The tallest man in Europe”. * He was 7 feet only in 18 years. * His name was William Breadley.

Towers * The highest building is Kingdom tower. * It is 1 km tall. * It located in Jaddah.
