What can you predict about how the US will respond to the crisis? The ‘Migrant Mother’ 1936 Taken of a lady and 6 of her 10 children having broken down on the side of the road. The TERA camp she had been at was failing, and the people there were starting to starve. The husband had lost his job in 1930 – and died two years later. How does this phot show the vulnerability of women during the Depression? What can you predict about how the US will respond to the crisis?
