Money, Money, Money All safekeeping goes through the Office of Student Life Safekeeping account application Safekeeping accounts (financial updates) Reimbursement requests (turn-around times) Deposits Funding SGC – MSA – GSC All organizations disperse funds to student organizations (differently) Funds are allocated to groups through The Beat and students are reimbursed

Money, Money, Money Funding MSA – Med Student Organizations GSC - Organization must involve Graduate Students and you must attend three meetings each semester. SGC – New Rolling Funding Process Deadline is the 15th of each month Sept. 1 – September/October (Note about September Events) Oct. 1 – November Reimbursement request is due on the 15th of the next month Funding in advance is fine. Make sure to include: Tables, Chairs and Trashcans Housekeeping For small group meetings/presentations in small classrooms you are responsible for ensuring the room is clean. With great power comes great responsibility With lack of responsibility comes great consequences Ensure that your room is cleaner if than you found it. The beat: Roster Update primary contact Update leadership Manage your organization’s roster

The beat: documents & Forms Your organization’s site should serve as the central and historical point of all relevant documents Create a form for your organization to gather specific information, such as an application.

The beat: events Put all meetings and events on the Beat. Events that have an image or flyer uploaded along with it will appear on the event flyer board on the homepage. (saved as a PDF or JPEG) The Beat events will be automatically added to the Weekly Beat.
