NID EG Activities (1/2) April 2005, ASTAP-9 October 2005, ASTAP-10 RFID Expert Group was established October 2005, ASTAP-10 NID activities in Korea and Japan was introduced NID activities in ITU-T was introduced June 2006, ASTAP-11 Changed its name from RFID Expert Group to NID Expert Group Changed its Terms of Reference APT Joint Proposal was submitted to ITU-T TSAG List of standardization topics to be taken by ITU-T Urgent standardization issues on Networked RFID in ITU-T

NID EG Activities (2/2) March 2007, ASTAP-12 Agreed to publish a “Status Report on NID Standardization Activities in ITU-T” Decided to extend its Terms of Reference in order to include the USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) activities under its responsibility

Meeting Results from ASTAP-13 1 – 4, October 2007, ASTAP-13 NID EG developed “Status Report on NID Standardization Activities in ITU-T” is available in ASTAP07/FR13/EG.NID/10 It was agreed not to update this status report anymore but, NID EG will keep following up the NID activities in ITU-T including FG IdM It was agreed to have e-mail discussion on whether APT region are need to register an OID for APT-wide use when X.RA-nid is approved as a ITU-T Recommendation NID EG rapporteur will prepare a contribution to CJK NID Working Group which introducing ASTAP NID EG and result of NID EG meeting during ASTAP-13

Meeting Results from ASTAP-13 NID EG decided to propose joint proposal to SG16 meeting on ID scheme and ID resolution protocol and the text of this proposal will be prepared through the e-mail discussion NID EG agreed to add Future Internet issues in 12 months work program and will have joint session between other EG in next ASTAP meeting if necessary
