With the signing of the America Invents Act into law by President Obama in 2011, the USPTO moved forward with the establishment of at least three satellite offices. Thus, the Denver office will be looking to hire and train a new class of examiners; hopefully, in fiscal year 2017 but much depends on the directives of the Trump administration.
