About me Bachelor’s in English from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego Master’s in English from Cal Poly, Pomona Thesis Topic: The Role of Women using Edna Pontellier in The Awakening and Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter Teaching & Administrative Credential Teaching at Walnut High School for 17 years

Student responsibility Students are expected to be proactive about their education— especially when absent, tardy, etc. Students are expected to go online to get work and keep up with class. The responsibility of making up work is put on the student. Tutorial is an opportunity for extra help or making up tests, quizzes, essays, etc.

You can also go to REMIND and sign-up for text messages and/or email reminders. Codes (and directions) for individual classes are located in your student’s syllabus. Homework is written on board every day.
