What is Tau Beta Pi? Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It is the nation's second-oldest honor society, founded at Lehigh University in 1885 to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges. There are now collegiate chapters at 245 US colleges and universities, 40 active alumni chapters in 16 districts across the country, and a total initiated membership of approximately 575,000.

Eligibility Membership is offered to: Juniors in top 1/8th of their engineering class based on GPA Seniors in top 1/5th of their engineering class based on GPA People of great character as determined by faculty and current TBP members

What we do? E-Fest Neon Night Run Outreach Monthly Meetings

E-Fest On September 14th Tau Beta Pi assists Career Services in making this such a successful event Employers come and interview students for full time positions, internships, and co-ops Members help Efest function by registering people, helping employers set up and take down, and act as security.

Outreach This Semester we will be assisting in Engineering Day and the Elizabethan/Medieval Engineering Day Great way to engage younger students in engineering Have in the past worked with the Boy Scouts and Duluth Area Schools

Neon Night Run Everyone Welcome A springtime run/walk of 3.14 miles T-shirts and food after run
