Stem Cells

Cellular Differentiation the process by which a stem cell becomes a more specialized cell type

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that can differentiate into specialized cells or a stem cell can divide (through mitosis) to produce more stem cells.

Somatic Stem Cell Adult stem cells are undifferentiated cells f ound throughout the body that divide to replenish dying cells and regenerate damaged tissues

Embryonic stem cells  are stem cells derived from the undifferentiated inner mass cells of a human embryo
