(Measure of Academic Progress) 3 x a year Student masters the performance standards approved by the State Board of Education. FSUS’s curriculum, instruction and assessment system is aligned with FL State Standards Report card grades showing 70% or higher = passing Cpalms.org

If your child’s teacher has concerns: Parents will be notified in writing: If a student’s progress is below the standards established for the student’s grade placement. If the student is not progressing satisfactorily in any subject. If the student is being considered for retention. When the current and proposed supplemental remedial services are being provided to the child.

Student Code of Conduct Can be found on school’s new website https://fsus.school

Behavior Class Dojo Students are expected to follow all school and class rules. Teachers expect students to follow directions the first time they are asked. Consequences are given at teacher’s discretion (i.e, no recess, lose a dojo point, parent contact) If students repeatedly break rules the parents will be notified in writing. The next step is a referral. We have a zero tolerance policy for physical altercations and bullying.

Drop off and pick up Students dropped off between 7:00 – 7:50 should report to cafeteria Students dropped off after 7:55 should report to class Students cannot be picked up without a car tag! Though it may seem inconvenient this is to keep your children safe. Pickup line is from 2:45 – 3:15 You CANNOT get out of your car to open doors, buckle, etc. The line must keep moving!
