Organization Goals
Critik is a mobile application that targets events, concerts, movie theaters, and restaurants. Using Bluetooth iBeacons, we are asking attendees questions as they exit the location. Answering questions = rewards from local businesses. We have several projects we will need assistance with and figured we would let the students decide which project it is they feel most passionate about. Each project will have specific objectives. Critik
1. One time event beacon testing - we will provide the iBeacons for students to team up and test at different locations around campus and around town. Develop logic & test. This would entail data building so SQL & Java/ObjC would come in handy. 2. Client Dashboard interactive mapping - build visual representations of charts and maps for clients to see data, heat mapping and response feedback. We will provide examples and education on this. SQL/JQuery would be needed. 3. Android version of the app- currently we are on iPhones only. This would take students who are comfortable with Java. 4. Client version (mobile) of the Client Dashboard- Taking our already built Client Dashboard and mobilizing it to a smartphone-allowing business owners the ability to ask questions and review rewards on the go.
