FOURIER SERIES AND FOURIER TRANSFORMS APPLICATIONS INTRODUCTION: The Fourier transform has many applications, in fact any field of physical science that uses sinusoidal signals, such as engineering, physics, applied mathematics, and chemistry, will make use of Fourier series and Fourier transforms

APPLICATIONS OF FOURIER SERIES AND FOURIER TRANSFORMS IN ECE FIELD Fourier analysis has many theoretical and practical like applications – in physics, partial differential equations, number theory, combinatorics, signal processing, imaging, probability theory, statistics, forensics, option pricing, cryptography, numerical analysis, acoustics, oceanography, sonar, optics, diffraction, geometry, protein structu re analysis, and other areas

APPLICATION-2: LOW PASS FILTERING AND HIGH PASS FILTERING The field of communications spans a range of applications from high- level network management down to sending individual bits down a channel. The Fourier transform is usually associated with these low level aspects of communications

APPLICATION-3: Fourier transformation is also useful as a compact representation of a signal
