Big companies rebrand or redesign their logos every so often Why do you think this is?

Which companies Logo is this? What is the main problem with Apple’s redesigned logo in 1976? It was very different from the original brand image. Would people recognise that it was apple?

What is the main advantage to their new logo What is the main advantage to their new logo? It was simpler and more easily recognisable. It was clear and bold. It was more modern.

Rebranding the Pepsi logo Pepsi was first developed and produced in the early 1890’s by Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist in America. Over the years Pepsi has redesigned their logo to reflect changing fashions, competition and style. One thing has always remained the same – the colours Red, White and Blue

Today’s logo – it’s not perfect

Your challenge To rebrand a logo of your choice for todays consumer. Choose carefully – as you need to be able to demonstrate your skills in meeting the grade target. What I’m looking for Your use of Illustrator tools including Shapes Gradients Symbols (if appropriate) How suitable your logo is for the Audience and Purpose Illustrator workbooks – Title of Logo Rebrand

Snip your logo into your booklet – even if you haven’t finished! Give your test buddy a WWW and EBI – they should have identified their target grade and what they need to do to achieve it. This I what you’re comparing their work to. Evidence of your work.

Final Marking Snip your final logo into your booklet and explain the following My work is a Grade____ I know this because___ I acted on feedback by___ If your grade is a 3 or above you need to JUSTIFY why you deserve that level.
