Warm up Instructions: Find the gerunds, gerund phrases, participles, participial phrases, infinitives or infinitive phrases in these sentences, tell what kind of verbal they are, and how they are used. 1. Project Requirements 1. Title slide -> with group’s names 2. Introduce your character -> Name, role in story, what kind of character are they. 3. Slide with Illustration -> Create a picture of your character that shows their personality and role in the story. 4. Slide with Dialogue -> examples of the character’s speech with explanations. 5. Slide with Actions -> examples from the text that depict the character’s actions. These must be explained to demonstrate characterization.
