Climate of Jamaica Jamaica is located in the Caribbean sea, south of Cuba. It’s mostly mountains, with narrow discontinuous plains. It’s climate is tropical; hot and humid. The temperature ranges around 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit, with July and August being the hottest months and February the coolest. The average rainfall is 50.7 inches.
