Our Plan on a Page Our Vision: A School where Every Child Succeeds Our Aim for Every Child: Have a Voice We wish for every pupil to leave able to express their wants and needs Have Friends Pupils have the opportunity to build relationships, feel valued and respected Have a contribution to make Our pupils have lots to give and we support them to be helpful citizens Have Achieved We aim for our pupils to exceed expectation Our Objectives: Voice Friends Contribute Achieve We will ensure: P1i-3i pupils can express needs/wants P4-8 pupils have a communication aid Steps pupils will take part in debates and negotiations Pupils have the chance to mix with others P4-8 have an inclusive learning experience P7-Steps pupils are part of mainstream experiences All pupil have a positive contribution to make P6-8 pupils contribute to in-house work experiences 90% of Steps pupils have external work placements All pupil gains accreditation matching their ability At least 95% achieve at least medium quartile At least 40% exceed upper quartile Outcomes: P1i-3i have a communication profile, shared with those who know them P4-8 pupils will use a communication aid Post P level Steps pupils have the opportunity to be part of the school student council Pupils will be able to greet others with a smile Pupils will take part in activities with a wide range of other individuals Pupils will have access to the wider community All pupils have the opportunity to be part of a community P6-8 pupils have the opportunity to help others 90% of post P level Steps pupils learn about the world of work and have the opportunity to experience this All pupils will leave school with the accreditation which recognizes their achievements Pupils will succeed beyond that which society expects of them At least 40% of pupils will exceed their potential
