The Water Cycle It is the process by which water moves through the Earth and atmosphere. Use your textbook and find the definitions for evaporation, condensation and precipitation. The ocean is the largest body of water on Earth- so big that it covers 75% of Earth’s surface The sun is what provides the energy that evaporates water and heats the land
