Chapter 24 Holden goes to Mr. & Mrs. Antolini’s Swanky Apt. Describes them as intellectuals/ likeable people. Mr. Antolini: Mentor role: “Noble Cause?” “You’ll find that you’re not the first person who was ever confused or frightened & even sickened with human behavior… Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. I was damn near bawling, I felt so damn happy. If you want know the truth. I don’t know why.”
