The DataRes Project, funded by a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarians grant from the IMLS, investigates how the library and information science (LIS) profession can best respond to emerging needs of research data management in universities.

Ongoing Activities: DataRes Survey Results Analysis 231 Respondents, 168 of which completed the survey Preview of Survey Info: -Participants primarily recruited via ALA listservs, and at professional meetings and conferences -Strong majority (76%) of respondents were librarians. -7 to 15 questions, depending upon how you initially describe your position. Those in administrative positions were given a slightly different set of question than those in researcher positions.
