DukesHouse Wood Team leaders They like have a great laugh and they took our shoes off on the 3G swing and swapped them around. The team leaders at DukesHouse Wood are brilliant and love to encourage you on. The team leaders know a lot about the activities and they tell us that it is fully safe and the gear will hold five elephants. My favourite leaders: Suzie, Kelvin, Graham, James and Jazz. Before every activity, we done a shout out at one of the leaders. It was good fun and we had a great laugh. The leaders are really encouraging and they brought us a hot chocolate when we done the campfire.

A campfire under the stars!!! At the campfire, we sang songs, did funny dances, told jokes, told stories and drank hot chocolate. “Peel banana, peel peel banana” was one of the songs we sang We had great fun and we were sheltered so if it rained we wouldn’t get wet. The campfire was really fun because we had a laugh with people we don’t normally.

Orienteering The orienteering was great but challenging. You had to read a map of DukesHouse house to find certain points on a sheet of paper and punch a hole in the points. I personally found it quite tricky. A quote from Libby, “I really enjoyed the orienteering but I got confused.”

Overall, DukesHouse Wood is a fun-filled, action-packed adventure which everybody enjoyed. At Kingswood, you can reach your full potential and much more. It was so much fun and it was… Awesome!!!
