What Is Fabric? Cloth used by knitting or other techniques and made into clothing, decoration, art, etc. Fabric has many different types and different uses. Some fabrics are strong and used in dangerous environments, isolators used in cold weathered environment, etc.

Cotton Types And Uses Cotton fabric is the most used in winter and summer, cold and hot environments. Because it can keep warmth from the body in winter and also keeps the body cool in summer. Its texture is soft and skin-friendly. It comes in many different colors. It can easily shrink so it has to be cared carefully. The cotton’s durability depends on how it’s worn and how it is cared. There is heavy cotton that is one of the strongest fabrics and lightweight cotton is not particularly strong. Cotton is farmed and manufactured into fabric.

Silk Types And Uses Silk is one of the most strongest natural fabric in the world. Silk is known for its softness and luxurious look. It is one of the most expensive fabric in the world for its complex construction. It can provide comfort in all types of environment. Its care is quite complex and if you are not sure how to clean it, better go to a proffesional to clean it. It is a fragile fabric to dirt and may look dirty if not cared correctly. It can last long for years if taken care properly. Silk has many types such as: Chiffon, Georgette, Organza, etc. Silk is made from silk worms and constructed into a fabric complicatedly.

Wool types and uses Wool is a fabric used in many ways. It can give warmth when winter and cool when summer. It doesn’t wrinkle easily and is resistant to dirt wear and tear. It also doesn’t burn when put on flame, but just smolder. It’s also used to absorb sound from many instruments and rooms. It is manufactured from goats and sheep. It is soft, strong and very durable. It has a simple but a little bit complex care to keep it clean and last long.

Leather Types and uses Leather is not affected by surrounding temperature. It can be comfortable in both hot and cold conditions. Its texture is soft and gives a classic luxurious look. It can absorb water vapor without loosing its dryness. It is not easily stretched and can stay in original shape. It has a complex way of keeping care. It must be cared really well to keep it clean, shiny and not lose its looks. Leather has many types like: Aniline, semi-aniline & pigmented leather.

Denim Types And Uses Denim is a type of wool with a rugged texture. It is generally colored with indigo dye. It is often used to make jeans. It is one of the most demanded fabric in the world. Its maintenance is simple but different than other fabric to keep it in shape and stay in color.
