King Reading Dates R.I. 4.2- Learning Target: I can determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text. Power Verbs: analyze, infer, evaluate, describe, support, explain, summarize, compare, contrast, predict, formulate, trace 1/9- Report Cards go home 1/12-1/13- Reading Assessment 1/13- KONA ICE Reminders Tribe Day 1- All tribe day 1 work is due on Thursday 1/12. We also need the Tribe Day Folders back so we can give you Tribe Day 3 & 4 packets. Math CC.4.NF.2 Learning Target: I can write and identify fractions in simplest form. CC.4.NF.2 Learning Target: I can use (1/2 and a whole as benchmarks to compare fractions. CC.4.NF.2 Learning Target: I can use common denominators to compare fractions. STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN SIMPLE SOLUTIONS BOOK LESSONS NIGHTLY! There are still MSE water bottles for sale in the front office. $8 We are still collecting BOXTOPS! Check with your child to make sure they have pencils!  Science/Grammar *** Students must read 20 minutes per night and record it on Reading Log with parent signature. Science- I can describe how animals receive different information through their senses. Grammar- I can identify when commas are used or need to be used in a sentence.
