Condition of our Collections The next slides will showcase the condition of collections from Community Colleges throughout the State of North Carolina. While some CC’s have called upon the State Archives to assist with their collections, many institutions have been all but forgotten due to budgetary or administrative constraints.

Beaufort County Community College Saundra Pinkham - Beaufort County Community College Library has a dedicated room for archives. Contents include both school archives and the contents of a donated genealogy collection.

Cape Fear Community College Todd Hooten - The archive at Cape Fear Community College ... It triples as basic storage, a conference room, and the archive.

Central Piedmont Community College Erin

College of the Albemarle Shirley Outlaw - At the present time we do have a room to store our archives in.

Randolph Community College RCC’s Archives are kept in a warehouse called Building 13. It is mostly used as storage for old furniture and items headed to auction. Basically, where unwanted things go to die.
