Italics Words that are slanted. They are important to read. Example: Winter is so cool.

Bold Words Words that are in dark print. They are important to look at. Example: Cows are black and white.

A Title is what the book is about. Example: A Life About Chickens.

Pronunciation Guide A pronunciation guide tells you how to pronounce words. Example: { Vaul-cane-o}

It tells you what page the information is on. Example: Cats…5 Dogs…10 Table of contents It tells you what page the information is on. Example: Cats…5 Dogs…10

Labels tell you what the picture is. Example: ant
