Presentation transcript:

But First, Let Me Write a Selfie. Write a Friendly Letter.

Smile!

But First, Let Me Write a Selfie. Write a friendly letter addressed to yourself. Discuss two goals you want to accomplish your eighth-grade year. Your goals should be personal and/or school-related. Consider relationships, health, faith, hobbies, habits, leisure activities, anything that comes to mind. If you get stuck, complete this sentence, “In the next year, it would be so crazy, cool if ________________.”

Your Letter Must Include: The Date A Salutation A Closing Hint-Each paragraph is used to explain each of your goals in detail. Explain why you want to accomplish them and how you plan to do it. Be specific! Don’t just say, “I want to make good grades.” Say, “ I want to make All A’s, All year.”

Remember, We will revisit this letter again at the end of the year. Choose goals that push you! Don’t write about something you know you are already going to accomplish.
