Business Priority Summary Solution Summary Value Map Name GUIDELINES 1) General information (grey box in upper left corner) Select one of the listed asset types (VMS, BPS, SOS) depending on the respective object type in BSR. Delete the asset types that are not applicable. Enter VM name; in case of an industry segment, add segment VM name, otherwise delete “segment VM name” from template. 2) Picture / logo on left hand side Select adequate picture from Image Library and make sure SAP logo is visible in the lower left corner. 3) Headline Add either Value Map name or Business Priority name or E2E name, depending on asset type. Only use the exact name that has been approved during VM creation and available in BSR. 4) How can SAP solutions enable you to change the game? Provide an overview on what SAP solutions are helping with in the specific area. Use business terms describing what the solutions enable. Avoid technical arguments (e.g. single instance & functional coverage). Do not use active verbs. Avoid the word “you” (use e.g. “business”/”industry”). 5) What do SAP solutions help customers do? Headers: Add next VM level down. Only use the exact name available in BSR. Copy box: Describe, what the solution can do. Leverage BSR content. Avoid listing benefits – these are covered in the next section “What are the benefits?”. Instead, talk about how the SAP solution supports this. Start each paragraph with an active verb. Add a pictogram per element from Image Library. Order: Keep order as on Value Map – left to right, then down. 6) What are the benefits? Start with benefit summary/value statement. Continue with bullets listing benefits. Benefits must be specific to content covered on this page. Avoid listing generic benefits (e.g. “increase awareness”). Refer to KPI’s, leverage content from Solution Explorer. Avoid presenting benefits as functionalities. Instead, talk about how the SAP solution supports the benefits. Start each bullet with an adjective (e.g. increased, advanced). 7) Why SAP? Description of competitive advantage of SAP solutions. Generic Statement – you are free to adjust to your specifics. 8) Key Facts Use VLM tool (go to “value content”, select “numbers” + “soundbites”) to come up with key facts. In template, add asterisk (*) after each key fact and make sure the related source information at the bottom of the page is correct. In case of source other than SAP Performance Benchmarking, add detailed source information at the same place. 9) Customers Add customer names and link to external customer references. Only use customer references from CRP, no other sources are acceptable! Find links to BTS, Customer Journey, CRS, CSS, Customer Testimonial Video, CSP in Customer Reference Tool (CRP). References must be in English. Only use references that are at least valid until Dec 2016. Otherwise content owner is responsible for extending the references prior expiration at least until Dec 2016 to ensure ongoing availability. Find detailed Information from Customer Reference Training here. 10) Learn More Visit us online: Adjust link (NOT TEXT) to LoB, Technology, Industry/ Industry segment landing page on SAP.com.
