CIT Graduates – What are they doing? CIT First Destinations Survey (FDS) – 2016 Graduates* New HEA Format for 2016 Grads 91.4% of graduates are in employment / due to start work / further study *Information was gathered from 53.3% of the 2016 graduating class.

Graduates in Employment/Due to Start* 67.8% in employment/due to start from 2016 cohort 5.8% increase v 2015 Type of Employment (of the 67.8%/998 Graduates) 89.2% = Employee 4.9% = Graduate Internship/Placement 5.8% = Self-employed (Increasing each year) *Information was gathered from 53.3% of the 2016 graduating class.

Graduates in Employment/Due to Start* Salary – 2016 v 2015 34% of grads remain in national average salary bracket (€20,000-29,999) Increase of 1.1% in those earning €30,000-€34,999 Location 93% are working in Ireland 80.5% (of those in Ireland) are working in Cork – 6.5% increase on 2015 79.4% are in jobs relevant to their qualification *Information was gathered from 53.3% of the 2016 graduating class.
