Secretariats Secretariat needs to be strengthened at national, provincial, district and local levels Secretariat should provide logistical, administrative and financial support to the Civil Society Forum and the PLWHA sector and encourage the growth of the private sector Secretariat should strengthen the TTTs with logistical and technical support There needs to be a TTT for each strategic objective A costing TTT needs to be established Secretariat should cost the full establishment of secretariats at all levels
Outstanding Matters Date and modus operandi of the Civil Society Forum Addition of 2 government and 3 labour representatives to the Plenary All 9 PCAs in the GF CCM A small committee should be elected to oversee any final changes to the proposal and to oversee the nomination and election processes for all structures Everyone is encouraged to support this proposal as we have had extensive consultations and we need to implement a stronger, more fit-for-purpose governance structure
Time frames Civil Society Forum to be held before the end of June New Plenary to be established and have first meeting during the month of July All new committees and TTTs should meet before the end of August
