Unit 1: Being a social scientist Objective Develop skills needed to do well in social studies. You will work with maps, graphs, study regions, and conduct research of your own.

Unit 1: Being a social scientist Lesson 4: People and Places Objectives Describe population patterns in the Middle East. Describe different types of settlement and give reasons for their locations. Name the capital cities of all countries in the Middle East.
