The GIN story The GIN was created by educators of the ISL in 2003 Mission: to empower students to work internationally with their peers to develop solutions for global issues Objective: to form satellite networks of schools around the world made of actively involved students/global citizens Inspiration: JF Rischard, former World Bank Vice President Europe and his book “High Noon: 20 global problems, 20 years to solve them” – Exponential changes creating unprecedented global issues mean that complementary solutions to existing institutions are needed.
